All other items in our shop
1-2 days to dispatch (orders received before 2pm are usually dispatched the following working day. All Friday, Saturday and Sunday orders are dispatched on the following Monday).
Delivery (UK only, excluding Northern Ireland)
We offer delivery within United Kingdom however due to Brexit, we sincerely apologise that we are currently unable to ship to Northern Ireland.
*IMPORTANT UPDATE*
All orders are shipped by Royal Mail Tracked 48 (no signature unless otherwise stated).
£2.70 for large letters or letterbox orders.
£4.95 for small parcel orders up to 2kg in weight (with Signature).
£6.65 for medium parcel orders up 5kg in weight (with Signature).
£6.65 for vinyl backdrops in tubes up (with Signature)
How soon will I receive my order?
Once your order is dispatched Royal Mail aims to deliver it between 2-3 working days including Saturdays, provided there is no unexpected or uncontrollable disruptions to their service.
If you need your order to arrive sooner, please email us at shop@gingerandcacao.uk so that we can discuss an alternative shipping arrangement.
Do I have to sign for my parcel?
Royal Mail uses photographs from their delivery personal as proof of delivery for Tracked 48 servies. We will accept all this as proof of delivery. If you have received a delivery notification, but not received your parcel please contact us immediately at shop@gingerandcacao.uk and we will raise an inquiry with Royal Mail.
For Tracked 48 Signed For deliveries, we will accept the signature of the person who signed for the parcel as proof of delivery even if this person was not the addressed recipient.
Can my parcel be tracked?
All our parcels are shipped with tracking information available from the service providers. Please contact us on the 5th working day if your parcel has not arrived and we will check the tracking system or raise an inquiry with the Royal Mail where necessary.
Why do you only offer tracked delivery?
As a small business, we simply cannot afford parcels to go wandering into the unknown. A tracked service costs more, but we feel this is worth doing because it allows us to keep track of orders and more importantly help us help you locate any delayed or missing items. We are transparent about the postage costs, charging only postage and absorbing packaging costs into our margins to keep prices affordable for our customers, many of whom are also home bakers and small businesses like ourselves.
The tracking information says my parcel was delivered, but I have not received it. What should I do?
Please contact us so that we can raise an inquiry with the shipping company. As part of our investigation, we will first ask you to confirm that you have checked with neighbours or possible 'safe places' where your parcel may have been delivered to before we write to the shipping company.
